The PS5 Pro is coming – but when? More details have emerged about Sony’s upgraded PS5, which looks set to be announced next month. Sony’s PS5 Pro hasn’t been officially announced but it’s been an open secret for a a long while, with dev kits reportedly having been sent out some time ago. Recent rumours all point to the console being announced at some point in September, with reliable leakers even drawing a picture of what the console looks like, based on retail packaging.
‘It’s probably going to be a very quiet and cool running machine.’ While it’s important to note that not everything in a dev kit makes its way over to the final release, this is still a strong indicator of the console’s capabilities. 2TB of storage would be especially welcome too, considering how much hard drive space games occupy these days. Sony hasn’t announced the PS5 Pro yet but it’s expected to be revealed in September, probably during a State Of Play presentation.
