Lang remains a major doubt and now left back Patrick Van Aanholt is too after limping off against Vitesse Arnhem.
Club record signing Noa Lang was already a doubt for the first leg of the Champions League playoff first leg at Ibrox. Manager Peter Bosz confirmed on Friday that the wide man wouldn't be in the squad for Saturday's Eredivise clash against Vitesse Arnhem. In the end, he wasn't needed as PSV came from behind to win 3-1 and go top of the table before heading to Glasgow.
But they may have to travel without Patrick Van Aanholt as well as Lang. The former Chelsea and Sunderland left back came off during the second half of the win in Arnhem and is now a doubt to face the Light Blues. Bosz refused to talk about Rangers prior to the league meeting, and it seems he wasn't much keener to discuss Tuesday's game after the full-time whistle.
His team's first half display would have given any watching Rangers scouts encouragement. But their Dutch counterparts will have taken just as much from watching Michael Beale's side make hard work of beating Greenock Morton. As for Lang's potential availability for Ibrox, Bosz was no closer to knowing. He said: "I don't know. In any case, he wasn't fit enough to participate today."
There was some praise for Lang's understudy, Belgian Yorbe Vertessen: Bosz added: "Vertessen was the most threatening man with us, he is looking for a lot of depth and has speed."
