Pub chain Greene King is giving out free pints if you have one of 50 surnames
Some lucky Brits will be able to get their hands on a free pint during the World Cup - if they have the right surname.
To celebrate the upcoming tournament, popular pub chain Greene King are handing out a free drink to anyone who shares a surname with a player in the England or Wales squads. If you're fortunate enough to have the same last name as one of Britain's footballing stars, you'll be able to claim the freebie at any point during a live game when either England or Wales are playing.If you are one of the lucky few, and fancy kicking off the World Cup with a free pint, just head to a participating Greene King pub and show them your driving license or passport. England's first game is against Iran on Monday .
To claim the free drink, anyone with one of these 50 surnames: Hennessey, Ward, Davies, Cabango, Lockyer, Rodon, Mepham, Ampadu, Gunter, Williams, Roberts, Thomas, Allen, Smith, Levitt, Wilson, Morrell, Ramsey, Colwill, Bale, Moore, Harris, Johnson, James, Pickford, Pope, Ramsdale Alexander-Arnold, Coady, Dier, Maguire, Shaw, Stones, Trippier, Walker, White, Bellingham, Gallagher, Henderson, Mount, Phillips, Rice, Foden, Grealish, Kane, Maddison, Rashford, Saka, Sterling, Wilson, needs to head...
