Rangers are plotting a new move for Lawrence Shankland after he rejected a new Hearts contract,, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that his sources have told him Rangers remain interested in the 29-year-old as a potential replacement for Cyriel Dessers, 29, after his ‘hit-and-miss’ start to the season.
Rangers had been interested in the striker over the summer but Hearts priced the Glasgow club out of a deal after an impressive 2023-24 season that saw Shankland top the Scottish Premier League scoring charts with 24 goals.
