A rare copy of a famous William Wallace poem has been discovered by a Paisley bookshop manager, a century after it was published.
His words took in the Gleniffer Braes, the problems of working as a carter, curling and the Paisley Races. The book was published in 1909 by Lochhead the printers in New Street, reports the Paisley Daily Express. He said: “It was just in a box sitting, and people hand in stuff all the time. So, I couldn’t tell you when it was given but people don’t always know what they are donating.
