Only a handful of Royal Family members accompanied the monarch at the annual Easter Sunday mass and the youngest among them left many royal fans shocked due to a huge change in his appearance.
King Charles was accompanied by just a select group of Royal Family members at the traditional Easter Sunday church service at Windsor Castle today.
Edward and Sophie's 16-year-old son, James, the Earl of Wessex, was the youngest royal at the service and blew fans away as he looked almost unrecognisable, thanks to a huge growth spurt, the Mirror reports. He has mostly grown up away from the public eye with his family but has made quite a few high-profile appearances in recent years such as the Commonwealth Games, the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations and the King's Coronation.
The monarch was dressed in a dark coat and blue tie while Camilla was in a great coat dress by Anna Valentine as they waved at members of the public outside St George’s Chapel. The layout of St George’s Chapel is such that the main congregation sits in a separate section of the church.
