RBAI and Ballymena Academy meet in the final of the Schools' Cup on Monday afternoon at Kingspan Stadium - 3pm kick-off
Ahead of Monday afternoon’s Schools’ Cup final, police have issued a warning about traffic disruption around East Belfast. Those attending the match are advised to leave extra travel time for their journey A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are advising fans travelling to the Danske Bank Schools’ Cup Final match between RBAI and Ballymena Academy at the Kingspan Stadium on Monday 18th March, to leave extra travel time for your journey.
“Entry to the ground for fans will be via the Onslow Parade and Mount Merrion Avenue turnstiles. If you are driving to the match, which has a 3pm kick off, please park with consideration for the local residents and businesses. “Road closures are in effect in the immediate area around the stadium. Please check Ulster Rugby social media channels and website for parking information.
“Traffic disruption is expected due to the large number of supporters attending the fixture, so please plan ahead and leave extra time for your journey. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable afternoon.“
