Karen Blick is marking seven years in the Dales in 2023, but she is currently earning praise for arguably her biggest storyline to date. .
She then had to reveal all, confirming that she'd given birth to a stillborn baby when she was just 15 after falling pregnant by Craig Reed. She wrapped him in her jumper and buried him in some woodland having never told anyone about her pregnancy or tragic loss. While she tried to tell him she was with Sam and that hadn't changed, he forced himself on Lydia. After the attack, Lydia was devastated but was driven home by her attacker who acted as if what had happened was consensual. Once home, she became shut off from her family before showering, washing away possible evidence if she were to report Craig for what he had done.
As for her personal life, Karen tied the knot to her long-term boyfriend Simon in 2011. The couple first met in 1996 while they were both working for an outdoor children’s pursuit company. The couple got married in a low-key ceremony, with Karen previously revealing to The Sun that she and Simon spent less than £2,000 on their wedding after securing a deal through discount site Groupon.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Karen sent fans wild when she revealed a previous blonde look. The soap star took to Instagram to share the old photos, sending her co-stars and followers wild. "Who’s That Girl? Found some early headshots circa early 00’s. X," she captioned the snap.
