Coleen Rooney will continue to live in the £20m mansion she shares with Wayne and their four sons while the former England star takes up his new role in Plymouth
Coleen Rooney has decided not to relocate from her Cheshire home to Plymouth with Wayne in a bid to "help their marriage". Sources close to the family have said that staying in the north west was largely motivated by Coleen's desire to maintain stability and happiness in their relationship.
An insider speaking to Closer magazine said: "Coleen's decision to stay up north while Wayne is in Plymouth was very much in an effort to help their marriage, despite many thinking it could be a sign of them living separate lives. She's a home girl through and through and is happiest when she's in Cheshire.
The news comes after Wayne had previously moved away for work commitments, notably to Washington in July 2022 to coach DC United, having joined as a player in 2018, reports the Liverpool Echo.
