Regent Bay Holiday Park, located just 90 minutes from Manchester, offers families an excellent opportunity for a budget-friendly and enjoyable February half term getaway. There are other activities too, including an adventure playground, a multi-use games area and play park, as well as an amusement arcade. You don't need to go far for anything once you're there, as it's got its own convenience store and there's an onsite Boathouse Bar and Restaurant offering meals and snacks, with a variety of entertainment including live shows at weekends and in the school holidays. If you do want to explore the area though, the caravan park is just a five-minute stroll from Morecambe's beach and promenade and less than three miles from the popular Happy Mount Park, with adventure golf, train rides and more. Arnside and Silverdale, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are on the doorstep and you're just a 15-minute drive from Lancaster, home to Lancaster Castle and popular for shopping and dining. Regent Bay is one of 23 Parkdean parks awarded the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award for 2024, with an overall rating of 4/5 on the website. One holidaymaker, who stayed at the site in November and gave it a five-star rating, said: 'Have had a great time staying here in a private let. Plenty to do for any kids. Our dogs loved it here. Near ish to town centre. If you like a walk about 15 mins to shops and front. Love the local chippy just adjacent to Regent Road. Great food.
