Kacper Kacperczyk will return to court for sentencing and to hear if he can contact his partner again.

A Renfrew man who saw red and punched a mirror after an argument with his pregnant girlfriend will find out tomorrow if he’s allowed to contact her again.

The procurator fiscal depute told the court the accused and his partner have been in a relationship for approximately one year and she was 22 weeks pregnant at the time of the incident last month. The dedicated team of experienced journalists, responsible for the publication of the award-winning Express, will focus on breaking news, day and night, across Renfrewshire’s towns and villages.

“The argument continued throughout the day into the evening and the accused left the house briefly before returning around midnight. “Officers also observed blood on the floor and his clothing. Police took a statement from the female and she left the property to go stay with a friend. Images were taken of the blood and the mirror and the accused was taken to hospital.

He added: “She phoned the police out of worry for the accused, not out of fear. She has no feelings of fear towards him. This was a one-off incident and drug misuse due to stress was a factor here. He recognises she will be more stressed than himself.
