It's been announced that PSVR 2 support will be coming as a free DLC update for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake.
COIN MASTER FREE SPINSOf course, the original Resident Evil 4 itself got a bespoke VR version – but that was exclusively for the Meta Quest 2 in 2021.
This, meanwhile – will allow players a whole new perspective on the remake, which is slowly approaching release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on March 24. There’s no ETA for the Resident Evil 4 Remake PSVR 2 patch at the time of writing, but presumably their work on Village’s VR should help expedite the development a little.
We’ve got our fingers crossed then that we’ll see it by the end of the year, and we can’t wait. We’ll update when we hear more.
