Efron's representative confirmed to the outlet that the actor was hospitalized 'as a precautionary measure' following the 'minor' incident and is 'recovering just fine;' as he was released from the hospital on Saturday morning.Efron's representative was asked why he needed to be hospitalized if the issue was merely a minor one; in reply, the rep once again stated the hospital visit was just a precaution.
The incident comes more than a decade after he 'shattered' his jaw in 2013 after he slipped on a pair of socks while running at his home, which caused him to smash his chin into a granite fountain.
