The MP has denied claims he offered to lobby on behalf of bogs gambling firms for up to £4,000 a month
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is facing calls to suspend the whip from Blackpool South MP Scott Benton following an undercover sting operation by the Times.

But now, he has reacted to the news that Mr Benton was offered a paid advisory role by reporters posing as investors in a sting. He said: "It will be up to the Standards Committee to decide M. Benton's fate but in any event, it's not good news for Conservatives in Blackpool especially so close to the local elections."
