Robson Green, known for his role in ITV's Grantchester, shares his love for the Philippines and his relationship with his partner Zoila. Green, who has been married twice before, finds solace in the country's culture, music, and family values. He discusses his previous marriages and the challenges of fame, revealing his contentment with Zoila and his decision to forgo a third wedding.

ITV's Grantchester star Robson Green has shared heartwarming insights into his trips to the Philippines with his partner Zoila, who was born there. Robson, who had been divorced twice before meeting Zoila in 2016, revealed to The Times that their holidays to the Southeast Asian country appeal to his love of music, food, and family. He shared last year, 'I always need music and history when I’m on holiday. My partner is from the Philippines, so we go over there a lot, especially to Palawan.

Recently we went to the south to see where the Spanish settled in the 16th century and visited the old camps they set up when they pillaged the area. Weekends for Filipinos are about reconnecting with family and I really like that. There might be a music festival or a dance and they’ll roast a pig. Again, the fishermen out there are terrific, so I’ll go out with the locals and watch the sunset as I’m casting a line.' Despite his happiness with Zoila, Robson has shut down the idea of walking down the aisle for a third time. In 2023, the star told the publication when quizzed about wedding bells, 'No, I've done enough of that. We're very happy together.'His first marriage was to occupational therapist Alison Ogilvie in 1991, but the relationship ended in heartbreak eight years later amid reports of infidelity. In 2001, singer and actor Robson wed former Page 3 model Vanya Seager after meeting six years earlier at BMG Records while he was recording Unchained Melody. Vanya, who once worked as Simon Cowell’s PA, welcomed a son with Robson, named Taylor, in 2000. The couple eventually divorced in 2013 after their marriage had irretrievably broken down. He told the Daily Mail of the split, “Vanya and I just grew apart. I don’t blame it on the career. It’s just we were different and we didn’t develop together. My mind went in one direction, hers in the other.” Opening up about his tumultuous love life at the time, Robson said in a 2016 episode of Robson and Jim's Icelandic Fishing Adventure that fame had caused him to “lose touch with what matters in life”, while admitting that his “relationships were a car crash.”Robson's romance with Zoila also hit the headlines after they met at a gym and fell in love, reportedly prompting the Sunday school teacher to 'immediately' leave her husband, Reverend Geoffrey Short. In the aftermath of the split, Geoffrey explained to The Mirror: “We had a great life together. People thought she was the ideal vicar’s wife, and she was. She loves the boys and everyone said what a fantastic mother she was. Then I got home from work one day and all of a sudden everything changed. She announced she was leaving to live with Robson Green. She said they got talking in the gym and she fell in love. She left immediately. This all came as a huge shock to me.
