Less than 24 hours before his scheduled match at the Welsh Open this week, he made another sudden withdrawal. This sparked criticism from fans who had purchased tickets to see him play, leading to O’Sullivan releasing a statement apologising for the disappointment caused by his last-minute withdrawals. He explained that he was prioritizing his health and well-being, which sometimes required difficult decisions to not compete.O’Sullivan’s next scheduled game is in the World Open against Stuart Carrington in China on February 23.
