In just seven months since their debut, members of rookie K-pop girl group Fifty Fifty have sued their own agency to suspend their exclusive contracts. | ManilaBulletin READ:
Fifty Fifty became a sensation through their song “Cupid,” which became viral that resulted in them entering the coveted Billboard 100 chart.
“This is an action taken after the Attrakt side violated the contract and caused the destruction of trust,” the law firm said in a statement sent to Korean media. “Nevertheless, while Attrakt was unable to clearly explain the breach of contract, not listening to the members' voices, saying that it was an 'extortion attempt by an external force,' and arbitrarily disclosing the reason for the member's surgery without consulting the parties, the members felt disappointed and frustrated,” it said.
