A charity worker has revealed actors may have been brought in to play homeless people for a new Spider-Man spin-off while real rough sleepers watch from the sidelines.
Morbius has been filmed in Manchester’s Northern Quarter this week and allegedly brought in homeless actors Earlier in the day Lily saw around 100 actors in a holding area for extras close to the filming location for Morbius in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.Anyone like Lily wanting to go through the barriers had to go through strict security controls and had to be escorted inside by a member of crew.She continued: ‘When I was leaving the [Methodist Central Hall] they were getting lots of extras ready on the street.
Lily said she does not know who asked the homeless people to vacate the area, or if they were asked to leave.
