Ruben Amorim gave Patrick Dorgu a debut against Leicester City on Friday night but started him on the right side.
Dalot has predominantly played as a left wing-back since Ruben Amorim's appointment and the arrival of Dorgu suggested he would relocate to the right, where he is most comfortable.
During his post-match press conference, Amorim was asked about starting Dorgu on the right and explained: "He played a lot of time at Lecce on the right and the left. That is one of the characteristics we pay attention to a lot, to have a player like him. He was a little bit anxious with first touch of the ball. It’s a different league for him, different speed of the game, but he did well.
It's all well and good pointing out that Dorgu can play on the right, but Dalot has been screaming to move from the left and signing Dorgu from Lecce was the obvious solution to the problem. Roy Keane was working as a pundit for ITV and also questioned Amorim, saying: "There is a lack of belief, lack of confidence. They've brought new players in, you're thinking he's going to play in his position and he's playing right wing-back. You think, is that unfair on players?
