Ryanair advises passengers flying out of the UK today to check their flight status due to potential disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions.

Ryanair has announced that there might be 'potential disruptions' affecting flights out of the UK today due to adverse weather conditions. The airline is urging all travellers flying today to use the Ryanair app for the most up-to-date information regarding their flights. The airline's statement on its website informs passengers: 'Affected passengers will be notified and any passengers travelling to/from the UK on Fri 27 Dec should check their Ryanair app for the latest updates on their flight.

' It adds an apology for inconveniences resulting from the weather, noting: 'We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by these weather conditions, which are outside of Ryanair's control and affect all airlines operating to/from The UK Fri 27 Dec.' Ryanair operates flights from a wide array of UK airports, including London Stansted, Belfast International, and Edinburgh, among others. This comes alongside news of Ryanair's introduction of a new route from Belfast as part of its winter 2024 schedule. The airline will offer 13 new routes, one of which includes an affordable European destination. Additional flights for three popular city-break spots - Krakow, Alicante, and London - have also commenced starting October 27, reports the Express. Ryanair's base in Belfast was re-established in 2023, and the company has seen significant growth in passenger numbers since pre-Covid times, with a reported 64 percent increase. Ryanair has diverted over 50,000 winter seats to Belfast International Airport as part of its expansion in the region. Dara Brady, Ryanair's Chief Marketing Officer, said, 'As the UK's No.1 fares airline Ryanair is pleased to announce our winter 2024 schedule for Belfast, with 13 routes including an exciting new route to Kaunas – connecting Northern Ireland with the Baltics, as well as extra Winter flights to Alicante, Krakow, and London, and giving Northern Ireland citizens/visitors even more choice at the lowest fares in Europe
