Review of Sam Fender in his People Watching tour at Manchester's Co-op Live
It's Friday night at Co-op Live and everyone in this place is all too aware they've got the hottest ticket in town right now.

He checks in with a number of 'how you doing Manchester's?' and urges us to 'look after each other', but there's little else.
It slows a little as he moves into his newer tracks. It's never quite the same when a tour covers new material and the six-minute Wild Long Lie drags a little. It's almost a relief when he needs to stop abruptly to deal with a commotion in the crowd. Will We Talk? brings the bounce back and the eagerly anticipated People Watching, the lead single from his new album of the same name, sparks the inevitable mass singalong.
