In the second half of the MiLB season, the San Antonio Missions boast the best record in the Texas League.

These aren’t the same San Antonio Missions . Since finishing third in the Texas League South during the first half of the MiLB season, which wasn't enough to earn a playoff spot, the Missions set out a new goal: Win the second half. After throwing a Texas League -leading 66 strikeouts last week, the Missions split their six-game series against Amarillo . That result helped the Missions jump to a 12-5 second-half record, the best mark in the Texas League .
