The latest Nottingham Forest news as the Clarets saw a second goal ruled out in the second half of the 1-1 draw at the City Ground.

Burnley midfielder Sander Berge has given his response to the decision to rule a goal out for handball against Nottingham Forest, describing the situation as ‘strange'.

It was debutant Callum Hudson-Odoi who topped off an impressive debut with an equally impressive goal after the break to draw Forest level. But Steve Cooper ’s men did think that they had fallen behind again later in the game, an incident which was one of the big talking points after the full-time whistle.

The Burnley man has given his thoughts on the decision. The midfielder saying that he feels he didn’t make a deliberate movement to the ball. “When we score I don’t really think about it as being a handball. The referee asked me if I used my hand and I couldn’t really tell, I just felt like I had my arm next to my body with just a normal running movement.Reflecting on the game overall, Berge outlined the challenge that faced them at the City Ground. He spoke of his pride in his team’s performance.
