Sara says Romualdez targeting to make Lakas-CMD 'majority' party at House

'I think and I understand from the moves of Majority Floor Leader Martin Romualdez is that 'yun ang kanyang target doon sa membership sa House of Representatives,' Duterte told reporters in Davao City on Monday.

For Vice President-elect Sara Duterte, the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats is targeting to become the "majority" party at the House of Representatives.

Duterte is the chairman of Lakas-CMD while Romualdez, cousin of President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., is the party president.for the incoming 19th Congress. Meanwhile, asked if former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has any remark about strengthening the political party, Duterte said she has not discussed the matter yet with the lawmaker.
