Our panel run the rule over some of Scottish football's big talking points ahead of the weekend action.
What did Steven Davis’ first game tell us and do you fancy Rangers to win in Paisley tomorrow? David McCarthy: It told us that whoever comes in permanently has a monumental task on their hands. There is no evidence to suggest they will beat St Mirren tomorrow.
Frank Lampard is out of the running for the Rangers job. Are Gers right to rule him out? David: Absolutely. Where in his body of work as a manager is there evidence that Lampard would be able to come in and sort out the mess that any new boss will inherit? Celtic took another Champions League blow but is there any hope of European football after Christmas? David: Losing at home to Lazio was a hammer blow to their chances of even finishing third in the group. I can’t see them getting anything out of the two Atletico Madrid games, so to have any chance they’ll have to win in Rome and beat Feyenoord in Glasgow.
