The police are warning others not to carry out similar acts
A 13-year-old teenage boy has been charged after a laser pen was shone at a Police Scotland helicopter on Saturday evening.
The boy carried out the 'dangerous' act at around 8.15pm on April 1. Luckily, nobody was hurt in the incident.READ MORE: First Bus 'thoughts with everyone' after two kids knocked down on Glasgow street A spokesperson said: "A 13-year-old boy has been charged after a laser pen was shone at the Police Scotland Helicopter, around 8.15pm on Saturday, 1 April, 2023.
"Thankfully these actions did not result in anyone coming to harm however, the dangers of these actions on pilots are obvious and are robustly investigated on every occasion.
