The children were later filmed dancing and singing after clinging on to the back of the bus
The ECHO understands the incident happened on Wednesday, April 24 at around 6.30pm on Elliot Street near to Lime Street station. In footage shared with the ECHO, it begins by showing the two children clinging on to the back of the bus as they run to keep up with the moving vehicle.
At one point, one of the schoolchildren drags their foot along the road as the bus moves and appears to struggle to hold on. When the bus stops at traffic lights near the Adelphi hotel, the children jump off the bus and turn around to face the camera.READ MORE: Woman in tears as she's charged with murder of Myra Thompson, 90, and £60 theft
