Angry parents have blasted the school for it's super-strict policy, which included having girls line up to have their waistbands checked at the start of term.
Angry parents have slammed a school for its "ridiculous" policy on skirts. Girls at Holderness Academy in Hull were allegedly told to line up at the start of term and have their waistbands checked, to ensure their uniform was bought from the approved provider.
Kaite said: "We originally did try to get her the right skirt but Lilly is tiny, it kept falling off her. She wore a Sainsbury's skirt last year and had no problems. Dad Wayne said: "It's not her fault that she can't fit into the right one and she shouldn't be punished for it. The majority of the children being put in isolation are good kids that don't deserve to be there."
"If you have to check the label to know it's not a Rawcliffes skirt, can it really look that different? I have now taken her out of school and she has a mentor and a tutor to help her with everything she needs away from that environment."
