New research has revealed the hottest 'set-jetting' destinations around the world for 2023, and Scotland has placed near the top.
Set-jetting is a new trend that has emerged in the travel industry, which travellers visit the filming locations of their favourite films and TV shows. According to Planet Cruise, it has a significant positive impact on local economies, boosting tourism by an average of 31%. Other recent and upcoming films that have been filmed in the country include The Batman, The Flash, and Tetris. Television series such as Andor, The Rig, The Crown, and The Traitors have also used Scotland as a filming location.
