The award-winning Eaglesham Beer Festival team are hoping to bring cheers to Strathaven's market town with the launch of its first ever beer festival there next summer.
Christmas has come early for beer lovers in Strathaven after a festival celebrating all things suds was given the go ahead.
A fun-filled community event showcasing the best of Scottish, there will also be gin, cocktails, wine and fantastic street food on offer. Former journalist Fraser runs the award-winning Eaglesham Beer Festival - which will again take place on July 5 - and says he is hopeful of being able to create an event of similar success in Strathaven."With two young kids, we know how much there is to offer for families here, with the fantastic park, miniature railway, woodland walks, and incredible eateries - not to mention pubs, it is somewhere we really enjoy coming.
This is to ensure that locals are given first dibs on tickets, without having to pay online booking fees.
