Alyson Forsyth, husband Gary and two of their young children have been stranded in Turkey since Tuesday night after being marched out of Dalaman Airport by armed officers.
A Scots family have been left stranded in Turkey after being kicked off a Jet2 flight over an allergic reaction rash. Alyson Forsyth says they have been "treated like criminals" after being frog-marched out of Dalaman Airport by armed police late on Tuesday night.
Alyson explained: "We were treated like criminals because my daughter had an allergic reaction to a stupid cat and was given antibiotics for a rash. I explained that we had been staying at Jet2’s Julian Forest resort when it happened. "They said we had to contact our insurance company. The police then came over and they were standing around us with their guns. It was incredibly intimidating.
The family were then left hundreds of pounds out of pocket to pay their own hotel while they try to get a fit to fly certificate for Halle. Alyson added: "The way we have been treated is absolutely appalling. I would hate for it to happen to any other family.
