A Scots beauty spot made popular by TV show Outlander has been trashed by 'selfish' visitors who dumped piles of rubbish and drug paraphernalia.
Police said they were made aware of the potentially dangerous litter at Finnich Glen, known as the Devil's Pulpit, in Stirlingshire on Thursday, July 25. The busy tourist spot, which is around 30 minutes from Glasgow, is currently up for sale. It's featured in big-budget films like Detective Pickachu, King Arthur and The Eagle. The area has became more popular in recent years after it featured in the first season of Outlander.
A tour guide was left disgusted after spotting the mess that has beeb thrown from the A809 bridge into the water below. They told Glasgow Live: "We are part of various users who take groups into the gorge to show them the amazing beauty and educate them about protecting such places.In the images, large sacks can be seen sitting in the gorge - situated upstream from the traditional tourist spot.
