Emergency crews have raced to McCallum Avenue in Rutherglen, near Glasgow, following reports of a crash at around 2pm this afternoon.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "McCallum Avenue in Rutherglen is closed between Main Street and Reid Street. Main Street is also closed between Caledonia Avenue and Hardie Avenue.
