Everton's youngster could add much needed goals
Everton struggle to score goals - this isn't a new or profound statement. The Premier League's second lowest scoring team last season, only ahead of rock-bottom Sheffield United, clearly need to find a way to find the back of the net a lot more often. Evertonians have been yearning for more goals out of Calvert-Lewin and Beto as the two strikers scored just 10 league goals between them last campaign.
The fact that all three of Chermiti, Beto, and Calvert-Lewin have somewhat similar builds and playing styles allows them to easily be compared. All three strikers use their size, but also their surprising speed, to their advantage against defenders. While all three play to their strengths of strong hold-up play and fast runs in behind, Chermiti's constant energy and off the ball movements have caught the eye as a quality that separates the youngster from his older teammates.
