Shrewsbury Town interim boss Sean Parrish said the interview process for the club's new head coach has concluded.
Town's miserable campaign got worse on Tuesday night as they were easily beaten by Walsall 3-0 in the EFL Trophy.
And with the search for a head coach going on in the background, questions were put to the interim boss about the vacant role. "Again all I can reiterate is what I got told about taking the two games," he said."Burton and tonight and that is what I have done. "Micky is keeping me in the loop. They have closed the interview process now, you guys are going to be able to tell me better about who they are. I don't know you tell me.And after saying the interview process had closed Parrish doubled down on that.
"That is what I am led to believe but again I don't know," he continued."There was a really thorough interview process.
