Funds are part of the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act, through a program called Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-saving Transportation, or PROJECT.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The City of North Pole is expected to receive around $750,000 in federal funding as part of an effort to improve resiliency to climate events around the state, under the U.S. Department of Transportation.

In the Interior, the grant funding is going to the City of North Pole Alaska Drainage Improvement Project.
