The Entertainer is opening a raft of shops within Tesco stores across the county, with three already open at Top Valley's Extra store, Toton Extra, and Mansfield Jubilee Extra
Seven new toy shops are being set up inside supermarkets across Nottinghamshire after two national brands struck up a 'magical' partnership. The UK’s largest independent toy retailer, The Entertainer, is opening a raft of shops within Tesco stores across the county, with three already open at Top Valley's Extra store, Toton Extra, and Mansfield Jubilee Extra.
Two more will open at Mansfield Chesterfield Extra and Beeston Extra on Saturday, May 4. Toy shops at Bulwell Extra and Hucknall Extra are set to launch in early September. Tesco customers will be able to buy well-loved toys from brands like Barbie, Lego, Hot Wheels, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol instore, as well as The Entertainer's exclusive range of Addo toys and products from early years toy specialist Early Learning Centre. The rollout follows the announcement in January of an extended partnership between the leading toy retailer and supermarket.
The Entertainer is due to roll out to over 750 Tesco stores in the UK throughout the year, which the company says will create more than 1,000 new jobs. Jan Marchant, managing director of home and clothing at Tesco, added: “We’re really excited to be bringing The Entertainer to Tesco stores across the UK, introducing even more customers to the great range of toys and making it easier for customers to pick up a gift for their little ones in store.
