The former Rangers defender will face Hampden bosses on Wednesday, September 11
Richard Foster has landed an SFA charge in the wake of his comments during Rangers' Premier Sports Cup win over St Johnstone.
The pundit has been handed a notice of complaint in regards to Disciplinary Rule 77. Foster will face his hearing on Wednesday, September 11. During last weekend's Sportsound coverage, the pundit called into the studio and admitted using the 'wrong choice of words' as he issued an apology and gave an explanation live on air.
"But the goal should stand, the decision itself to award the foul would have been wrong anyway and I think they got the right decision which is the most important thing. I wish I hadn't said it but I did."
