SFA ref chiefs are reportedly set to review audio of to discover how officials reached the decision to allow Cyriel Dessers ’ controversial opening goal for Rangers in their Premier Sports Cup win over St Johnstone.

Furious St Johnstone players believe MacDermid blew his whistle for a foul, which could have caused them to stop play, and SFA chiefs are now going to assess if that was indeed the case along with the exchange with Aitken.
