For a team sat four points off a play-off place and with so much to play for after making great strides on the pitch this season, you'd think Sheffield Wednesday would be going into tomorrow's match with Leeds United brimming with confidence and excited about the game ahead.
That was just one of a series of eye-opening comments by the club owner, with a difficult situation brewing for all involved at Hillsborough. It's not an ideal situation ahead of a trip to Elland Road to take on the Championship leaders. "I wouldn’t say it affects us on the pitch as obviously we are athletes, so we do our job professionally. It’s a tricky thing to navigate. I am not going to bite the hand that feeds me because with the chairman for what he’s done for me personally, I can’t complain, really.
