Join St Andrew's Hospice on its exciting new shopping venture
St Andrew's Hospice has recently been handed the keys to a brand new store in Coatbridge, bringing a new retail experience to the people of Lanarkshire. Its new Shopping Outlet will not only benefit customers, but the wider community too.
The store will help generate the vital funds required for the charity to continue providing specialist care and support for the people of Lanarkshire - meaning those involved will be making a transformative difference to many lives. This includes symptom management, rehabilitation and end-of-life care for each individual, bespoke to their needs, as well as support for their loved ones and carers too.
Continued provision of these services is only made possible by the generosity of the Lanarkshire community who buy from its shops, play its lottery, support its events and leave gifts in their Wills. St Andrew's Hospice is looking for various volunteers to cover 280 shifts at the Locks Street outlet. Roles include customer-facing roles, stock replenishing and merchandising, furniture restorations, pick-ups and deliveries, maintenance and cleaning, and security.
