New equipment is now in place and actively supporting patients with complex needs after a hospital team flexed its fundraising muscles.

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital's successful League of Friends group has provided over £13,000 to fund new equipment for its Muscle Team.

The hospital says its new equipment ensures patients continue to receive the highest standard of treatment in a safe and supportive environment. Patient Phillip Turner using the new equipment with members of the Neuromuscular Team and Heather Thomas-Bache, Head of Fundraising, Communications and Volunteers for the League of Friends.

“Patients can now access a range of services in modern, purpose-built spaces, improving efficiency and ensuring that they receive the most effective treatments available.
