Cameron Shaw, 28, contacted random people on social media using different accounts and struck up conversations about the twisted abuse.
A musician who told horrified strangers he was 'evil' and shared warped thoughts about buying a baby to abuse has been jailed for two years.
A raid of his flat in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, found 53 images of child abuse along with 18 videos with many at the most depraved level on various devices. "She states JLad123 messaged about how he could 'have a bairn for a couple of hours' and then JLad123 wrote about being 'evil' and that he liked to see 'bairns in pain'."
Melissa McNeill, defending, said: "He acknowledges that the offences are horrendous in nature and he doesn't feel pity for the situation that he finds himself in rather for the victims and the trauma that they went through.
