The 22-year-old scored 27 goals and registered 15 assists last season, too, as he was named the PFA Young Player of the Year and the PFA Fans' Player of the Year. Chelsea’s star player has more goals than United’s top goal scorers this season combined, with Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford having four goals each.
Silvestre told BoyleSports, who offer the latest Premier League betting, said: "Manchester City were keen to sell Cole Palmer, but they wouldn’t have sold him to Manchester United and crossed that divide.
