The Olympic champion was told he had two to four years left to live
Chris Hoy and his wife Lady Sarra Hoy had their first interview together today, November 12. The couple appeared on This Morning to share the health battles they are both facing which has seen their family go through a tough time. In February 2024, the Olympic champion announced he was battling cancer and revealed in an interview with The Times last month that he had ' two to four years' left to live after his diagnosis became terminal.
He continued: “We were in the room, and we got the diagnosis and I felt sick, I felt nauseous and the room felt like it was spinning. I had to get up but I couldn’t sit still and it’s not the news that you can ever prepare yourself for. You can never imagine yourself in that situation and a million thoughts are running through your head.
