The iconic 80s supercar was owned by the legendary singer for more than 25 years

The iconic Countach LP400 Periscopio, a treasured piece of the singer's car collection, was under his care for more than two decades.

The 'Maggie May' crooner had the vehicle shipped to his LA pad, where he added his personal touch with new spoilers, a wide-body kit, and a modified roof featuring removable panels. After accompanying the rock legend back to Blighty, the pair parted ways in 2002, as Luxury Auto News reports.Initially built with a right-hand drive, the Lamborghini underwent a transformation to a left-hand drive by a subsequent owner.

Currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer, a spokesperson from the auction house remarked: "This 1977 Lamborghini Countach LP400 is one of approximately 150 Periscopio examples manufactured during the first four years of the Countach model's production."
