The sister of Sandy Davidson who disappeared in Irvine 48 years ago is appealing to the public to get in touch with Police Scotland if they know anything that could help.
Donna was too young to remember what happened that day but she is determined to do what she can to keep his memory alive, including keeping his disappearance in the public eye. Donna has released a statement through Police Scotland, saying: “I don’t have any memories of Sandy as I was too young but I still think about him all the time. It is the not knowing that gets to you.

If we, as a family, can just get some answers it would help us come to terms with losing him, even though we know in our hearts that Sandy is unlikely to be alive.
