It is the only ice skating rink confirmed for the city so far this year
A new ice skating rink is coming to the city in time for the festive season. The ice rink, called IceBox, will open at BOXPARK Liverpool on Friday, November 22 until Sunday, January 5. The winter ice rink will be located directly opposite the BOXPARK Liverpool venue in the heart of the Baltic Triangle's Cains Brewery. An artist's impression has been released by the venue, giving guests a sneak peek of what the ice rink will look like.
It said: “To create a magical Christmas experience for our residents and visitors, Liverpool City Council is seeking proposals to create a festive wonderland on Liverpool's world-famous waterfront, with an enchanting Ice Rink centre piece, a selection of vintage style/traditional fairground rides and an array of festive stalls, selling gifts, crafts, artisan goods as well as a selection of festive food and beverage items.
