The snow has finally reached Glasgow, with a yellow weather warning in place for snow and ice tomorrow and throughout much of the weekend. Glaswegians are sharing their snaps as the snow begins to lie.
Snow showers have begun to blanket the city, with heavy flurries spotted in various areas.
One person shared a view of Argyle Street at the Charles Rennie Mackintosh statue, saying "The view down Argyle Street in the west end of Glasgow in tonight's snow."Meanwhile, one person added: "The snow has properly hit Glasgow." The warning reads: "An area of low pressure moving in from the southwest through Saturday night into Sunday will bring a band of precipitation across much of the UK. The forward edge of this is expected to fall as a transient band of snow which may bring accumulations over higher ground, before turn increasingly to rain from the south through the night.
