An SNP MSP who has had the party whip removed over "utterly abhorrent" remarks concerning the Israel-Hamas conflict has said he is "disappointed". Former SNP MSP Sandra White fuelled the fire by commenting, "We know what Israelis hope to achieve they are already committing genocide in Gaza", while highlighting the grave toll on "innocent children being massacred". Writing in a post on Facebook after the move was announced, he said his “primary desire in relation to Israel and Gaza is that there should be peace talks, negotiations, and eventually peace”.
